KhaliQ
Growing up in Chicago’s south side section called Terror Town. KhaliQ’s music represented the grimy drill culture of Chicago but his lyricism and global POV separated him from the likes of his peer group that included Lil Bibby, Chief Keef, and Lil Durk. After relocating to Memphis, TN to pursue a bachelor’s degree at the University of Memphis, KhaliQ opened a successful recording studio to record and develop other artists. After graduating with a bachelor’s in political science, KhaliQ has released successful digital mixtapes while furthering his education in countries such as Taiwan and Trinidad & Tobago. With each mixtape highly influenced by the local culture and rhythms. As a results of his travels, KhaliQ has created and maintained a musical presence in a very unorthodox way. A formidable ghost writer as well, KhaliQ is prepping his next release called Imperial.
This compilation mixtape will be available for streaming on all digital platforms.
